Chicago Architecture

One of my favorite “touristy” things to do in Chicago is to take an architecture boat ride along the Chicago River.

Wendella offers a great version of this tour, and last week I played tourist in my own city aboard one of their boats. Of course, I also took my camera along for the ride.

Since I’ve been on photo hiatus lately, I thought I’d make it up to you by posting one boat ride picture a day for the next couple of days.

And since the photo above isn’t really an architecture photo, consider it a bonus. Here’s Photo #1:

  1. They are really great tours! This was my first time on Wendella, but the Chicago Architecture Foundation also runs a really good tour.

I highly, highly recommend some kind of river tour to anyone visiting Chicago. Or to anyone who lives in Chicago and hasn’t been on one.
