Here’s another photo that I took while I was supposed to be cleaning out the “closet of doom” the other night. It’s another example of how minor details can sometimes tell you a bit about the life of the photographer.
By the way, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can display these race bibs and medals that I can’t get myself to throw away?
I like photos that when examined closely contain a lot of hidden clues about the subject, or about the photographer. I think you can learn a lot about me from this photo. For example,
- I’m a sports fan.
- I’m a Chicago girl.
- I’m a bit of a pack rat. (This is only a teeny glimpse at the tickets I’ve saved over the years.)
- I tend to get very distracted when I’m supposed to be cleaning out the closet.
And, I had to include this one with her adorable bib!
Sometimes when I see things that are very old, I imagine them appearing in sepia tones in my mind. Like this bridge. When I saw it in real life, I just imagined it not actually in front of me, but in an old time photo. So, I edited it that way.
